Offices, retail, restaurants and hospitality
Commercial architecture carries a double burden: it must work — efficiently, safely and within the rules — and it must communicate. A well-planned office helps teams collaborate and helps businesses attract and keep people. A restaurant's layout decides how smoothly the kitchen runs and how many covers it can serve. A shop's design shapes how customers move and what they notice.
We design office fit-outs, retail and showroom interiors, restaurants and cafés, hospitality projects and mixed-use buildings in Karachi and beyond. Our portfolio includes a heritage-sensitive hotel design in Thatta and a mixed-use building designed to LEED criteria. See our guides to office interior design and restaurant and café design.
Getting the technical side right
Commercial projects live or die on the things customers never see: air-conditioning sized for Karachi's heat and the number of occupants, electrical capacity and backup power, fire safety and escape routes, kitchen extraction and drainage in food businesses, and the approvals that go with change of use. We coordinate these with engineers from the start so the design survives contact with reality.
Programme and phasing
Rent and lost trading make time expensive. We plan fit-outs to minimise downtime — including phased works when a business needs to keep operating — and produce tender documents that let contractors price accurately, so there are fewer surprises once work begins.
Costs
Office fit-out budgets in Karachi vary enormously with size, finish level and services; per-square-foot figures for interiors are similar to residential work at the same finish level, with services often a larger share. We give a clear design fee and help you set a realistic fit-out budget early.
